April 24th 2008: Bominflot going physical in New York, Newark and Port Elizabeth
The Bominflot Group is pleased to announce our latest expansion to our North American operations. Effective immediately, Bominflot is a physical bunker supplier in the large and growing New York, Port Newark, Port Elizabeth market.
We can supply all ISO marine fuel grades.
This latest move solidifies Bominflot's position as a physical supplier in all the major bunker ports on the U.S. East Coast, from Norfolk, Hampton Roads, Chesapeake, through Baltimore to Philadelphia, Wilmington (DE), Camden (NJ), and now to New York, Newark, a coastal range of some 360 miles (570 km).
The company has a time-chartered 30,000 bbl (4,500 MT) double-hull barge available in the Norfolk-Philadelphia range.
Coupled with our new supply position in New York, Bominflot now offers single-barge delivery of large stems for vessels calling at both New York and Norfolk. Among competing suppliers, this flexibility is unique to Bominflot.
