We can provide a full range of fuel oils, marine diesel and gas oil at Canadian bunker ports through our long association with local refiners and bunker suppliers. Supplies can be arranged in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, the St. Lawrence Seaway and British Colombia. While barge delivery is often available, supply of all grades by truck is common and efficient in many ports in Eastern Canada and some locations offer ex-wharf supply. Supplies can also be arranged in the St. Lawrence Seaway to vessels arriving at or leaving the Great Lakes.

United States

Houston (TX) and surrounding area

We supply a full range of fuel oils and distillates via barge to vessels working cargo in the Houston Ship Channel and the surrounding ports, including Galveston (TX), Texas City (TX), Freeport (TX), Port Arthur (TX), Beaumont (TX), Lake Charles (LA), and, weather conditions permitting, at Bolivar Roads anchorage. Gas oil can also be delivered by truck subject to access.

New Orleans (LA) and the lower Mississippi River

We deliver a full range of fuel oils and distillates from our terminal at John W. Stone Oil Distributing Co., only 30 minutes transit time by barge from the 9-12 miles anchorages. We also service all other bunkering locations along the 373 km navigable length of the Mississippi River from Pilottown to Baton Rouge, including the Industrial Canal. Gas oil is supplied by barge or by truck (subject to access).

Philadelphia (PA) and surrounding area

Our storage is located at Magellan Midstream Partners Terminal (formerly Delaware Terminal Co.) in Wilmington (DE). From there, we can deliver all grades of bunkers by barge or truck (subject to accessibility) to vessels working cargo in Philadelphia (PA), Paulsboro (NJ), Camden (NJ), Gloucester (NJ), Wilmington (DE), Delaware City (DE), and to anchorages at Marcus Hook, Mantua Creek, and Kaign's Point.

Norfolk (VA) and surrounding area

Working from storage at IMTT Terminal in Chesapeake (VA), we can deliver all grades of bunkers by barge or truck to vessels within the greater Chesapeake Bay, including Norfolk, Portsmouth (VA), Newport News, Hampton Roads, Sewells Point and Yorktown. Ex-pipe deliveries are also possible at IMTT Chesapeake.

Baltimore (MD)

The port is accessible by barge either from the Delaware River (via the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal), or from Norfolk (via Chesapeake Bay). With storage strategically located at both ends of the range, Bominflot is uniquely positioned to offer competitively-priced products in the ports of Baltimore, Sparrows Point, and Cove Point (MD).

Mexico

Bominflot enjoys a close association with the Mexican state oil company. As a result, we are able to offer competitively-priced bunkers at all bunker locations on the Caribbean and Pacific coasts of Mexico, offering a viable alternative to Panama, California and some US Gulf Coast locations. Deliveries are available ex-pipe at oil installations and, in several ports, by barge. Gas oil can be supplied by truck subject to accessibility.

Bominflot provides bunkers at either end of the Panama Canal in Balboa or Cristobal. A full range of fuel oils together with gas oil is available. Marine diesel is available from time to time. Deliveries can be made ex-pipe and by barge in both ports.

Bominflot, through Deltamar S.A., owns and operates a tanker with 800 MT capacity (IFO and MGO), where IFO 380 cSt, RMG 380, IFO 180 cSt, RME 180, MGO DMA and MGO DMA (sulphur max. 0.1%) can be supplied at Buenos Aires, Zona Comun (Buenos Aires Roads), La Plata, Campana and Zarate.

Bahia Blanca

All grades of bunker fuels(from 30 cSt up to 380 cSt) and MGO DMA are available from the sole refinery owned by Petrobras Energia S.A. at Puerto Galván. Through Deltamar S.A., who owns and operates a tanker with 500 MT capacity (IFO and MGO), we can arrange bunker deliveries at Ingeniero White, Puerto Galván and Puerto Belgrano and also at Buoy 17 (Bahia Blanca Roads).
